Harmony Tenor w/ Case

Photo for Ad 138032

This is a 1960s Harmony Tenor, H1201TG, made in Chicago, USA. It is solid wood throughout, no laminates, with a spruce top, mahogany sides and back, and a mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard. It is a 9.75 on a 10 scale, having no structural issues, either current or repaired, and very few finish flaws. The scale is 23" and the action is 5/64ths at the 12th fret.
It plays wonderfully well, with strong tonality and more than adequate volume for a tenor. You might improve on the tone, depending on your tuning, by experimenting with different string gauges, but it is just fine in the current DGBE.
It has what I think is the original chipboard case in very good condition, with a replaced handle. I have a large number of high definition pictures available via email for your perusal.
The price is $425.00, with free shipping to the US states only.
