    I did not have any music or tab for this. Hopefully my performance was done correctly and respectfully for a national anthem.

    Very nice. It is very close to the Hatikva that I know. So you are accurate there. As far as technique, which you can see very well from your camera angle, (good job), I'd keep the left hand fingers 'at the ready' even though you are playing an open string. And the right hand... I'm gonna work on my technique for the rest of my life. But check out Chris Thile's rant about picking. Keep making that Red Valley sing. Nice work there.

    Thanks for the advice. My son recorded while I played. You don't realize when you are doing something and then when you see the recording you see unnecessary hand movement. I will make a conscious effort to keep my hand in ready position from now on.
