I think the dog got close to a fresh paint job!
No one bid on it. But fear not - it's been relisted, and at the same price.
Wonder why it's located in PA, but listed in the UK? Is there something we don't know about our British brethren's proclivities?

Now,JB, would you want it known if you were selling it? Hiding from the "unusual" folk who might buy this? Were it me, I would say I was in Fiji or somewhere other than my real locale.
All above is to simply be regarded as jest! I don't know if I would part with it if I did own it, it gets cold here in the winter, fur might make me play more. I don't know. Does it have "warm" tone? Sorry, to the corner!

The only person who needs to go to the corner is whoever did this to a perfectly decent (if not great) and probably innocent guitar. It's just a hairible, hairific hairorshow. Fur real!

Thanks for the corner extraction JB!
I must admit, this one is pretty bad, one might call it un"bear" able. Ooh, bad one sorry.

I had a Bolivian charango made from an armadillo shell, and it had some hair still left on it. Also had ears.
But it came by its organic appurtenances naturally, not by retrofitting. This guitar seems destined for a Furries convention.

Allen, I hope it got disinfected. Can't you catch leprosy from armadillos?

This guitar was once owned by Furry Lewis.
When 'good enough' is more than adequate.
Kind of gross...

... I'm a California Man!
It could carry bad germs. DANGEROUS.
This is probably a disgusting way to cover some finish defects.
It's not unreasonable to assume there are finish defects under that. And if not before, surely now. But as a solution to that, this is way over the top!

Yeah, from live ones; armadillos are one of the very few animals, other than humans, who carry the Hansen's Disease (leprosy) bacillus. Smithsonian article says that armadillos probably originally contracted the disease from humans, and apparently up to 20% of the nine-banded armadillo population is infected.
However, a decades-old armadillo shell made into a charango is unlikely to carry the germ, which apparently can't exist for very long outside of a (living) host.

Must have been the other "Furry Lewis" I have no recollection of ever owning, playing or even seeing that creature!
