HI, Im thinking of buying this mando. I was going to get a Morgan Monroe off Amazon but I don't want to spend a heap to get
it playable. the local shop has the Martinez for not much more. Think I know where Im going. I have played it. It had a nice neck and played nice. OK, I know what Im doin.
    Thanks for listening.
    Cheers Bruce

Looks like a Goldtone (but sunburst, rosewood board and different headstock - there are other subtle variations available with different names)......old style compensated bar type bridge. I happen to like these bridges but some people like individual saddles......
I worked on a maple necked Goldtone a while back and thought it pretty good compared to the generic mandocasters - got a super action on it with only the lightest fret tickle......
    Have fun!
