A an example, my good friend and guitar teacher has been playing guitar (blues and rock) for 30 years or more, and in sitting in our jam several years ago, it was the first time she had seen a mandolin up close.
A talent for trivializin' the momentous and complicatin' the obvious.

    The entire staff
    funny....

There are more mandolin players who also play guitar, than mandolin players who don't, I would guess.

And there are whole universes of guitar players that don't play mandolin, compared to the number who do.

What I mean is the majority of mandolin players who also play guitar make up a tiny minority of guitar players generally.
We all need to get out and play more. Clearly, the world is mandolin deprived!
