A casual recording of a 14th century Virelai 'Je vivroie liement' by the french composer and poet Guillaume de Machaut. Actually a monophonic piece of music with a single voice. So the second voice...
By the way, there are more kinds of German trad dance music than just Bavarian music. Much less popular but very interesting.
It's hard to find transcriptions because most of those musical...
Thanks that you appreciate!
Yes, many of those Breton tunes are very easy to play and are pretty slow but groovy. And could be played with a drone accompaniment or at least some very simple chords...
After a couple of months I have taken my OM back in my hands and tried to arrange two An Dros from France. The fingers are still a bit stiff. Hope you like it anyway :-)...
After I focused last year more on the guitar, me and my band now made a new recording where I could play my Octavemandolin or Cittern. We recorded a song from the 13th century by 'Nithart' or...

And it looks like the body is deeper....
Nice tune. Thank you for sharing :-)
Thank you :-)
Lovely!
The story behind the name a little embarrassing.
We had need a provisional name for our band for our first little gig a couple of years ago. And we had a little cat which name is "Schnecke" (snail...

I am only playing on small stages with 25 - 150 people in the audience. A year ago I have started to put a simple Shure SM57 mic in front of me on stage. That sounds very good to my (much better than...
