This is an old Bill Monroe tune that you don't seem to hear much these days. I started doing it with one of my bands and it's more popular with audiences than I expected. Don't worry, I stop playing the banjo around 00:45. There is some tab that will get you started here. The Nashville Bluegrass Band do it very well on Twenty Year Blues.
I like that alot, you even make the b@njo! sound good and that's not easy.
Amazing, and you make it seem so effortless.
That was great, OS! No banjo dissing here - it's all good to me!
Mighty fine and a great big howdy!
VERY nice indeed, OS.
Congratulation! Nice song, superb demonstration. Thank you! Now I know my job for this weekend...:-))
OS, You nailed that! Very impressive. Would have loved to hear more of your fine banjo pickin' being this tune really features the banjo. Listening pleasure for sure. Thanks, I really enjoyed that.
Most excellent, OS. Really fine playing and a great tune.
Thanks very much all you kind folks. I'm delighted by all your comments, everyone seems to enjoy this tune. And even requests for more banjo? I must be doing something right (or wrong)
