I came across Roland Whites site a couple of weeks ago, and if you go to video FAQ and then down to the "Temolo" video, you might find this to be very informative which really helps on keeping the pick square, less wrist movement, and more arm movement.

Some good general tips, but I don't care much for his tremolo. He plays a disjointed style that has never appealed to me. You really want more wrist and less arm.
