The mandolin looks elegant, but sounds deep and resonant. I would be proud to be the caretaker of one. Well done!

"...while a great mandolin is a wonderful treat, I would venture to say that there is always more each of us can do with the tools we have available at hand. The biggest limiting factors belong to us not the instruments." Paul Glasse
Stumbling Towards Competence
Sorry to be late to the party. I thought it looked beautiful . . . but it sounds even better. What lucky devil wound up with that?
Joe-- unlike a lot of people here, I really don't lust after high end mandolins. I play a modest Asian made model and it suits my needs. However, if I ever came into a lot of cash, I'd seriously consider letting you make me one. Your blending of the modern mandolin with classic violin "technology" is nothing short of brilliant. Really beautiful, innovative work that sounds as great as it looks.
