Happy, if you're reading this, you don't know me but your DVD on bass walks on the guitar opened up whole new worlds of rhythm playing for me. I'd been playing for a couple of years and just couldn't get a feel for walkups and walkdowns, but somehow your DVD on the things (and a lot of practice) made sense of it all.

On this recommendation I purchased Happy's bass runs DVD. I just received it. It includes a very clear explanation and demonstration of the use of bass runs in all the common keys, both in 4/4 and in 3/4 time. I skimmed though it this afternoon and I am positive this will help my plug a hole in my playing quickly and rather painlessly. Great little DVD.
