Just wondered what happened to the cherry wood being used for mandolins topic that was here....it looks like it was completely deleted. Is it in an archive somewhere?

    Thanks.

We like to think of that more as a PEBKAC than an ID 10 T.

I am making a few cherry and walnut Jade mandolins. Here is a photo of a line up of maple, walnut and cherry bodies. Kinda reminds me of Neapolitan ice cream. There will be one oval hole in walnut, one in cherry, and two maple oval holes. I'll let you know how they turn out. The cherry and walnut mandolins will have maple binding, gold hardware and natural finish. Also, they sure won't be priced at 27.5K!

I like to keep up on jargon. Could you explain what ID 10 T means?
    Thanks,

ID 10 T looks like the word idiot.
