Anyone have any idea what kind of a hard case would hold a eastwood mandocaster. Just got one to play with and would like to protect it in hard case.
Any suggestions?
thanks, Ira

Cases made for the Fender FM60 & 61se, may work,
For remaining stock, check with 'M F' or your Fender dealer.

I'd like to revive this thread. I just got an Eastman Mandocaster and would like to get a hardshell case for it. Aside from the case that Eastman makes especially for the Mandocaster (and is hard to find anywhere in stock), are there any other hard cases that it fits nicely into? Has anybody found that Fender's case for the FM-60 works with the Mandocaster?
Thanks!
Well, send me your Mandocaster and I'll let you know.
MC510 is the Fender item number for that case ... I just traded away one with an FM61SE inside it, but I have another that is housing my FM-984.

Thanks for the offer, mrmando.
The dimensions of the Eastwood Mandocaster are:
Overall length: 26"
Body length: 12.5"
Lower Bout: 9.5"
Upper Bout: 8.25"
The Eastwood Mandocaster is fairly similar in outline to the FM-984 (excepting the different configuration of the horns at the upper bout), so if the main dimensions are likewise similar, the Eastwood might fit that case.
What's the depth/thickness of the Mandocaster? It's a pretty slim little case.

The maximum thickness is 2.25", and that's from the back to the top of the vol. and tone knobs.
Access Rectangular Case.
Blatant self-promotion warning. We sell them. Works great on my Mandobird, too.
Can't you get the case directly from Mike? Or do you just not like that case?
Who's Mike?
Mike, I think, is the dude who runs Eastwood.

Oh, Mike Robinson; gotcha.
Anyway, I decided to order an Access Stage 3 case. Thanks, all, for the input.
