    Question Mandola or Mandolin?

    Hello everyone I have question what kind of instrument is this? Please someone to help me with any info. I play guitar and want to try something new. Thx

    Measure from the nut to the 12th fret. A mandolin would measure ~6-1/2”-7”. A mandola is longer like ~8”.

    What does that label read on the back of the headstock?

    Also that upper area of the fretboard looks a bit odd, perhaps some amateur repair?
