    Default Mandolin Inspired Beer

My local brewery, Nod Hill Brewery, in Ridgefield, CT had a mandolin inspired beer. The owner of the place plays mando in a band that plays at the tap room once a month. They are a good group called Hitch and the Giddyup, hence the name of the beer. I thought people on this site would appreciate the artwork on the can. I didn't get to taste it because they were out but I took a picture of the sample can they had. Hopefully danielpatrick sees this post, I think he'd appreciate it.

I think that Daniel Patrick who run the Mandolins and Beer podcast said something about one of the places he gigs in Charleston was going to come out with something mandolin-inspired, but I can't remember the details. I'd guess he'll probably show up in here eventually.

Ahhh, Ridgefield, CT; (used to live New Fairfield, work in Danbury). Some great music memories in that town. I met two of my biggest music idols there. I'm not a huge beer drinker, but I would buy a can, just as decoration for my music room.

As a Flatiron owner I was pleased to see a can of this turn up in a mixed case (sadly ~100th size)

As a Ridgefield native this is pretty cool. I haven't been to that brewery in while. Jay, does the Nod Hill Brewery still have the Friday night jam?

I want a can for decoration - I'm not a beer drinker, but I'll happily use it in my beer-batter fish recipe!

Randy, they did that one we went and then another one a couple months later but it was the same weekend as Grey Fox so I don't think they had much of a turn out. I know I was at Grey Fox. Haven't done one since. I need to mention it to them again.

Hey there! A brewery in Charleston called Dockery’s brewed a beer in collaboration with me call The Red Mandolin! It is a red IPA and it is delicious! Unfortunately it is only available at the brewery and they aren’t distributing it. hope everyone had a great weekend!

    Cheers
