I formed Flint Hill Folk to play at the Genesee Country Village "restoration" (actually, all the buildings were relocated on the site) in 1976, and we're still going, with a slew of personnel changes but some of the original members.
I joined Innisfree in 1991 or 1992, and am the newest member; the group's been playing (infrequently) since the 1970's. I first partnered with Bonnie Abrams at around the same time, and we're still working, though not as much as in the past.
Most of my work now is solo, but I have several Flint Hill Folk gigs this summer. Innisfree's playing the Wayne County Fair in August, and Bonnie and I have some seniors' gigs scheduled. There's a lot of experience and interpersonal understanding that comes with a long-standing musical relationship.
