Billy Gibbons was walking down the street in Helsinki and spotted this guy busking the blues. The guy hands him his guitar, and shoots some quick footage of Gibbons busking on the street. Unusual venue for this cat, enjoy.

I find it quite funny that nobody seemed to stop and watch - they probably assumed it was just some guy trying to look like a member of ZZ Top . . . .

1- there is more to successful busking than just playing well. Much more.
2 - there are many amazing blues folks who never become famous. We don't know how good the original busker was. The caliber of street musicians in Helsinki might be very high, making Gibbons just another day in the week.
3 - I loved the playing.

Nor did anyone throw any $$ in his case....yet they would pay big $$ for tickets to a ZZ Top concert.....go figure.I find it quite funny that nobody seemed to stop and watch - they probably assumed it was just some guy trying to look like a member of ZZ Top . . . .

Maybe beards like that are common in Finalnd?
FWIW, I had one like that for a while and here in the US Mid-Atlantic Region, people really do look at you differently! It was fun.

I looked at the video again, and suddenly I saw it: no sunglasses!
Billy Gibbons is never complete without sunglasses.
A guy with just a red beard and naked eyes that can actually visibly look here and there (as opposed to fixedly and darkly glance at nothing, like an insect) could be your average next-door Martti Wateverikkönen and not be conspicous at all in Finland.

Hey, hey, hey - brilliant point there, he does look a bit naked and un-Billy-Gibbons like without the shades.
Your comment made me go back to watch a video I saw a couple years ago to see if Billy had his shades on in it, and yep! Indoors, among friends in a semi-casual setting.
Well, but he knew it was being recorded for a web episode. Same or similar skull cap, BTW
