Where the 16th fret is closest to the white cross bar, although this one, when viewed from the front is asymmetrical, only appearing like this on the bass side. I haven't seen (a photo of) one like this - 'stepped', for want of a better word. Closer to the 15th fret on the treble side.
I'm no expert, just a lover/appreciator (mostly) from afar. Maybe some of the mavens will chime in here..
I don't understand the 16th fret issue either but isn't this the ultra-rare "two-hole tailpiece" version?
So what happen to this little "gem" I don't see it on Ebay
