Slow OT Jam in Portland?
Hi All,
I am wondering if anyone knows of any slow jams for OT in Portland? The OT jams I have found online (and the one I went to in town) seem to be all "by-ear". Although I have been taking lessons, I am not quite there yet to pick up tunes that way yet.
I have been teaching myself how to read standard notation and collecting fiddle tunes. I can play some basic chords and love playing tunes and I am eager to play with others!
An organized slow jam of all instruments would be great, as would just some other mando players who might like to meet up and play/ learn together.
Thanks,
Chris

Re: Slow OT Jam in Portland?
Try the taborgrass beginner jam on Saturdays. It is more bluegrass and fiddle tunes but is well organized, slow and will introduce you to the Portland folk music community. Biddys would be the next next on Sundays.

Try the WAMA jam up in Winlock, north or Portland.
