Default Mandolin Cafe Ball Cap saves my life!!

On my recent tour of the Baltic cities, this scary fellow in the very medieval city of Tallinn, Estonia (former USSR) pegged me as being from "out of town" despite my substantial efforts to try and "blend in." Just before my head was separated from my torso, he noticed my hat and decided that I was worth saving! I thanked him profusely, paid him 5 Euros and drank the first Honey Stout beer I could find!!!

Moral? Wear your Cafe hat while traveling, it separates you from the "herd!"

And today my black MC hat saved my life! I was digging out something in the back of one my garages where it was dark and I ran into a huge amount of spider webs. They all clung to my hat, thereby saving me from likely deadly black widow spider bites to my head. Thanks MandolinCafe!

So I've heard. Anything that keeps you from getting separated from your head is a good thing.

While my hat may not have truly saved my life (yet), it has saved me from injury, several times, particularly coming between me and low overhanging branches while biking merrily along. Well, perhaps the way it dissuades banjo pickers and their fans from bothering me - I believe trying to read a word with so many syllables confuses them - has indeed saved my life, or at the least my enjoyment thereof.
But that's just my opinion. I could be wrong. - Dennis Miller
