C. Thile, M. Marshall, S. Bush, D. Stiernberg , J. Reischman but this isn't really fair to the next five I listen to as often .. .. ..
I love hanging out with mandolin nerds . . . . . Thanks peeps ...
C. Thile, M. Marshall, S. Hull, Pete Martin and ?
Me, me, me, me & me.
Not that I am better than any of them, far from it. But that is the only one I will ever get to be.
I know... There are so many really good ones among us these days it's hard to just go with five... My five are the ones I find myself listening to most often right now.. Had I posted this a month ago (or even a month from now) my five might very well be different... I really love Sierra Hull (who doesn't??!?) but right now I'm on a SHEL kick and Eva Holbrook is absolutely amazing to me.
If we're basing this on whom I have purchased....

But that's a really unfair list because that's just who I've been listening too this week... could be different next week. I'd say Adam Steffy is probably 6 or 7... Excellent mandolin player, but it's funny - for someone that wins player of the year consistently he has yet to be in someone's top 5!
