Here`s a tenor built for a Jeff Beck fan based on the Fender signature model.

    Gorgeous as always Pete.

So now the inevitable question.... Will your vibrato unit fit an emando?

Gorgeous indeed, Pete! Beautiful work as always.
Scale? Body size proportion compared to the full-sized model? Pickups?

Hi Ed, Scale length, 23", body very slightly reduced - around 1/2" narrower, pickups custom made for this instrument - Neodymium magnets, bridge pickup 7.9k, mid and neck, 6kOhms - mid pickup reverse polarity/wind.

Hi Mr. Chinn, re. tremolo, the Brazilians have been doing it for years but I made this one from scratch with 13mm string spacing. Only downside I can see for a mando is that the body has to be rather thick to accomodate the springs etc. If you`re interested in some good images, check out the Guitarra Baiana facebook page - plenty of luthiers posting "in progress" type shots of some of the most stunning instruments ever!
