Curious to know if anybody is in the south central area, not so much the minneapolis area (there are multitudes of pickers I am told in Minneapolis/St.Paul, a proverbial Promised land on Minnesota soil) but more towards the St.Cloud area, the culturally desolate piece of the state. Raise your voice all you who hail from there!
    Ooh, he card reads good.

    Hey Adam

Not from there myself, but not terribly far. I'm in East Central--Sandstone--which is about an hour's drive on 23. My home email is fkeller AT scicable DOT com--drop me a line if you like.

If you're a bluegrass or old time picker looking more local than where I live, I suggest you check out the Bluegrass Forum. It was started by Mark Anderson of Monroe Crossing. There's not a ton of traffic but you can get more MN-specific info there.

    Cheers!

You may want to check out the festival at Lanesboro in
    May.

    Adam,
I'm in St. Cloud and other than the two bluegrass fests at El Rancho this area is pretty desolate.
I would love to jam sometime. I'm new to mando, but I'm decent at guitar.

    Brewboy,
    # Well alright man, I'm just an hour south of St.Cloud. Are you hitting up the June festival at the ranch this year? #Those are a blast and a little more down home than the August festivals if you didn't know but wanted to. Also homebrew huh? Organically delicious. mandosmiley:

I'm going to try to make it to both if possible. Let me know if you want to jam sometime. I don't make much home brew these days. Brewing is my job-a FUN job.
