    Default More Footprints

I love the Miles' quintet on this tune. Hancock and Shorter blow my mind."All" of them were in a deep pocket.

Just trying to catch a minutia on tenor banjo.

The Internet is so Amazing, how many people before us could hear and see Miles at his best?

    Too Cool

Very Cool indeed Bob. Would love to hear you play it on Bass, and I would have loved to see Miles Live, but never had opportunity.
What was his config. when you saw him?

Both times it was in the fusion phase. The second time Amandala had just come out and the band was very big. Two synths and Mile played one also and lots of percussion. The first time was better. He played for the Atlanta Jazz Fest which is a free event. The original date was rained out and the make up date was inside (much better acoustics) and poorly advertised and so poorly attended. The auditorium was less then half full and I was free to move around. Can you imagine Miles for free and not many people showed up?
