Hey, I'm looking to commission (or maybe buy) an electric bouzouki and was wondering if anyone had any experience with makers. I'm just trying to get some ideas right now. Thanks!

The electric bouzouki Tavy made in his thread a few down below this one is one of the best I've heard, that's where I'd go if I were in the market. As far as just buying one rather than commissioning, I haven't seen many mass market solid body electric bouzoukis, there is the Luna one advertised some places but I've never actually seen a video/picture of anyone owning one so their existence may be mythical. I have seen a few electric guitar to electric bouzouki conversions on Reverb.

Thank you! Just replied to his post to see if he's taking commissions for those.
Awesome! I was looking at GD Armstrong the first time I wanted to get an electric bouzouki years ago, and I'm glad that you've reminded me of him now.
Also, just wanted to say that Dragon Reels was one of the first albums I picked up when I was getting into trad back in middle school, and it's still something I listen to all the time. Thank you!
