I am going to show that to the missus so she knows what a good boy I am -just as soon as I hide the mandos that is
That's an impressive collection, especially since you have built or rebuilt many/all of them. Well done.

Wot no catchphrase?
Thanks mate, as you know I am just a DIY man with a few different ideas.
So you can imagine how surprised I am at being asked to build a guitar for a very high profile tenor guitar player.
I still cant get my head around why such a person would contact me when there are so many professional builders out there!
Nothing actually confirmed & I don't even know how I feel about taking on such a project.
I am not going to say too much about this contact at the moment as I hate any form of unnecessary stress in my life.
I am being encouraged by my friends to take this forward but my hands shake at the thought!!
Nice stuff man, I've often thought about getting a tenor, but I'm really wanting a mandola or mandocello, Just gotta keep it on the downlow for now after my last mando purchase "A happy wife is a happy life-if ya'll get me"
Well it has now been confirmed, I have been asked to build a tenor guitar of my own design for a mega star!!
I am talking about someone who gets over 100 million hits on YouTube!
I am completely lost for words but it is true, this persons record producer has travelled to Guernsey, visited my house, looked at my work & now confirmed the commission.
I don't know if I should cry with laughter or cry with panic....
Congratulations!!
Now the guessing games will begin
A few years ago I had a really sweet archtop Harmony tenor, that I found at a pawn shop for $100. I really wish I hadn't sold it.
Anyhow - nice group photo . . . I wish more folks would share group shots of their stuff.
Do I see one electric archtop Fox? What is it? Hey, I've been to Oz a couple times, picked up a nice dig while there. I cut a little Maple down here in Pa. recently , and was eaten out nicely by ants and what not. About 5 ft by 6 inches. It has a hole I need to patch about 6x4 inches, I know its not rocket science, but I was going to patch it with mesh and paper mache. I'm sure you've patched some dij in your day, how do you patch them?
Thats a cool archtop, I love it. Hey, Congrats on your commission! Thats cool as hell.....I didn't see it until rereading right now.
I have two vids of that guitar, first one was taken about half way though rebuilding it.
In the first vid, my tenor banjo playing friend Clem, makes it sound far better than I ever could in CGDA
Then my mandolin playing friend James (four finger style) has fun with a few tenors, the harmony appears at 2.25.
It looks like there might be one 8 stringer in that herd? I think Nick Reynolds played an 8 string Martin 0-18T, among others...
