This may be a stupid question, but, have tried contacting gibson ?? or the dealer you bought it from ?? And as far as it being none of your business about how many they made of that particular guitar...
Quilted Maple will give a more mellow sound and Flamed Maple will give you a more punchy, crisp sound.
I get mine from elderly, D'Addario J74's for $4.50 a pack.

I have had my Custom Yellowstone now for 10 months, and i must say it is the best sounding and playing mandolin i have ever played, Period !!!!!!! And honestly anyone who has ever played one or owns...

I have a Weber and i love it, and in my opion it plays better than any gibson could even think about. As far as bolt on neck is concerned, It's not, it's a reinforced mortise and tenon joint....
