i got the record the other day (really nice double vinyl set) but i have barely had the time to listen to it.

really smart to put those little combos on the guitar stands! i usually try to put something under the amp at the front or tilt it back against something, but those solutions never seem that good......
it's cool he makes mandocasters! although i'm not that keen on the headstock.
i'm also thinking about it having two pickups... since they're basically right next to each other; do they offer that...

no need for a bass or doubleneck case. an ordinary rectangular guitar case would be big enough, don't you think?
yup. sent off an email to gibson support day before yesterday, but havn't gotten a reply as of yet.
When i've been looking online now it seems most left side mini-grovers would fit. I guess many tuners with screw bushings would work, but I would really like to avoid having to drill new holes for...
I recently got me a Epiphone Mandobir IV to rock out with. I really like it.
However, I noticed that the tuning pegs felt a little loose, so I tightened it.
Somehow - and I surely didn't use excess...
how did it go?
did you change the mandobirdpickup to a seymour duncan?

don't know if i'm handy enough to build a mandolin myself, even thou those kits seem pretty straight forward.

i'm a guitarist and bassist, and i have recently been thinking about starting playing electric mandolin. it seems fun!
I think i want some sort of four string solid body...
