Sorry, my Primetone 1.4 and my CT55 are exactly the same thickness. Tone is similar. Wear would likely be different. Feel of the Primetone is different as the material seems to be a little harder.

I have one 1.5mm McCray and I like it for darker sounding instruments because of its brasher, louder tone. I am not sure about wear, yet. Customer service and ordering was no problem here in Germany...
