    I tried a couple different ones (never tried a BC) and settled on the Dunlop Gator Grip in 1.5 mm. I bought 24 of these at a ridiculous low price and love them.

    I purchased a mandolin from Mr. Fear a while back and can only say if possible you will do yourself a favor by dealing with him. He answered all my questions honestly and could have answered them...
