That's the spirit. What is it?
I like that dark sunburst. Also nice playing. That one Irish tune sounds kind of renaissance for some reason.
Sorry about the son, may his soul rest in peace.
Soundclip?
Hmm... This section is for picture posting. So I'd recommend posting a picture so that we can comment on it and tell you how much we dig your mandolin. If you want some reviews, I'd suggest "Looking...
That's nice big scroll.
Will you be building A's?
Interesting indeed.
That Weber is so absolutely stunning. It leaves a good taste in my eyes.
Baritone Uke?
I don't get it.
You should use it as an album cover or t shirt or something though.
I love the finishes on Eastmans.
Get off my turf son. I'm the red man around here.
I don't think it's his fault he didn't like the sound. A tonegard may help but it's nowhere near necessary if you hold the mandolin properly. Different courses for different horses that's all.

What kind of stuff have you been playing on it? Delta Blues?
I don't know much about bluegrass, but I would think they'd use a dreadnought.
Very nice by the way I generally love the...
Very nice. Welcome to the cafe.
Very nice. I wouldn't expect GDAE to work on an 18" scale, but I know nothing about what determines good sound on an electric.

Congratulations. How do you like it?
Or cavemen and dinosaurs
In my experience, J74's are what you should stick with. You have to learn to love the pain. You're conditioning right now. No pain, no gain.
I have the large triangle 1.90mm acetal pick (same as Raven without matte finish). I'm not a huge fan. It contributes very little volume, and there is an obnoxious string squeak and thud (possibly...
I've actually been looking for a tenor banjo with a minstrel headstock.

That is beautiful. Thank you, I'll look into it.
What's odd is that I don't really like mandolin banjos. Too high for good banjo timbre.
