    With my Wegen pick it is sort of hard to tell which is the pointy end. All three corners are fairly much the same similar to the shoulder on a standard pick.

    As noted above this lumber is flat sawn instead of quarter sawn. Too bad because they don't make wood like this today. I will need to find another project for it.
