I'm going out on a limb by saying that this has probably not been a SOTW in the past.... But maybe it should be! This tarantella is played to ward off the evil eye, or "malocchio". This is a good one to work on your hammer-ons and pull-offs as well as pick direction. I hope you enjoy!

I love this! Your playing is electrifying here, and it's a bit of musical time travel as well. Ticks all my boxes.

Where did you find this music?

Thank you! I don't remember exactly. I am always saving tunes that I want to learn.

Maybe I can help you remember a bit: it's in the book "Traditional Southern Italian Mandolin and Fiddle" by John LaBarbera, published by Mel Bay...

    Not sure how to comment.
Blown away, all good. Well performed.
This transported me to Corsica. The sun. The pasta. The beaches. The cars. The olive oil.

I checked, Pluckingstrings, you were correct.
