Hi Friends, I own 2 mandolins, a Loar LM-400 and a Big Muddy M-0. When I bought the Big Muddy, I thought it looked a bit shorter than my Loar. Measurement revealed the Big Muddy to be 2 inches shorter. I just assumed all mandolins were the same. It's not a problem, just a surprise to me, but maybe you already knew that
Those are two totally different designs. But I bet the scale length is 13-7/8" on both. It would surprise me if they were much different from each other in that important measurement.
