Hey folks! It's finally here! For the last year I've been working on this crazy genre-bender of an album called "Room for Everyone." It was sort of an idea I've had for a long time - to put the mandolin in a ton of different genre spaces and show that it can work well creating all kinds of different textures and colors. Here's a link to the full record: And you can pick it up on iTunes, ...
I've been trying to learn how to play upright bass a bit. My technique needs a lot of work but I just finished up working on these two mandolin/clarinet/guitar heavy arrangements. This first one is a cover from a Larry Goldings record that I wanted to learn the hammond organ for. My good friend John Posey plays a wonderful guitar solo on this one.
I've been working on this tune recently and thought I'd run a few takes for the internet. Hope you guys enjoy!
I don't typically sing, I don't typically play guitar, and I don't typically play songs I wrote. Here's a little bit of all three of those things. Sorry for the lack of mandolin on this one!
Hey guys! I'm not much of a singer but I thought you guys may enjoy this. I was working on some John Prine this week and couldn't help myself. Cheers!
It's been a while since I posted here! This week I put together a cover of Vulfpeck's "Beastly." Thought you guys may enjoy!
I can't believe this is the 99th consecutive week I've put one of these together. This is an original waltz I put together a couple years ago; thought you guys may enjoy!
It's been a while since I posted something here, but this week I worked on a chord melody of Pure Imagination and I thought you guys may dig it. Cheers!
This week I wanted to work on mandolin, so I thought I’d give a jazz standard a shot. Hope you enjoy!
Happy Holidays my friends! Bryan and I recorded this a couple weeks ago - it's one of our favorite Christmas songs. I hope you enjoy!
