The original recording featured Butch on mandolin, mandola and octave mandolin in an instrumental program of 15 traditional gospel songs. Support from Aubrey Haynie and Andrea Zonn on fiddle, Robert Bowlin on guitar, Stuart Duncan on fiddle and Dennis Crouch and Mike Bub on bass.
