Susanne Riedel in Concert with Western Illinois Symphony Orchestra

Macomb, Ill. — Classical Mandolinist Susanne Riedel of Dresden, Germany will perform solo mandolin with The Western Illinois University Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Dr. Richard L. Hughey, Conductor on December 8, 2007.

The concert will be held at the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall, Western Illinois University at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Ms. Riedel will be performing music by Yasuo Kuwahara (1946-2003), Raidoh: concert for mandolin and orchestra.

Ms. Riedel has performed throughout Europe in ensembles and orchestras and won competitions in Germany.
