New Millennium Acoustic Design and Mandolin Cafe To Give Away Mix A5 Mandolin

Waterville, Vt. — New Millennium Acoustic Design, builders of the world's first and finest carbon fiber mandolins and the Mandolin Cafe are combining efforts to give away a Mix A5 model mandolin on the Mandolin Cafe web site on October 15, 2007.

Visitors to the site will be allowed to register for a chance to have their name drawn as the winning entry. Start date of registration is September 15, 2007. No purchase will be necessary to enter.

The giveaway instrument will feature an ebony fingerboard with a 12" radius that is 1 3/32" at the nut, Grover tuners, a Steve Smith adjustable ebony bridge, an engraved James tail-piece, an internally-mounted Schertler CDyn pickup for superb amplification and a TKL-style hardshell case.

The base price of the A5 mandolin is $3500. The Mix A5 is built entirely and finished by hand, demanding a great deal of skilled work to produce a mandolin with exceptional tone, fit and finish.
