Orleans, Calif. — Sandy Bar Ranch located on the Klamath River, in the heart of the Klamath Mountains in Northern California will host three days of acoustic workshops, jams and fun on the river on June 7-10, 2007, with a pre-workshop session June 5-7.
Special guest instructors for this year are Dix Bruce and Tom Rozum.
All levels of players are welcome to come learn and play in a supportive environment. All acoustic instruments are welcome, though instruction will be on the guitar and mandolin.
The Klamath River MandoJam will provide an opportunity for acoustic musicians of various levels and styles to come together in a beautiful mountain setting and supportive environment.
Come early and make your own jam June 5-7. In response to popular demand, we're tacking on a few days before the event when participants can arrive early, relax by the river, participate in impromptu workshops and jam sessions and just make music. A lot of learning happens just by swapping tunes and getting shown a new chord or two, and jamming with old and new friends. These few days will give early birds a chance to warm up before instructors arrive and get even more out of the event. No meals or organized sessions, just time to hang out and play.
To register send either the full amount ($275) or a $150 deposit to Sandy Bar Ranch at the address below. Cost for pre-workshop jam session is $20/night. For those of you who have already registered we will mail you a confirmation along with directions and logistical information.
Space is limited, so please pre-register. To register or for more information contact:
