Chris Thile Receives GRAMMY Awards Nomination For Best Country Instrumental Performance

Santa Monica, Calif. — Nominations for the 49th Annual GRAMMY Awards were announced on December 7, 2006 by The Recording Academy.

In the Best Country Instrumental Performance (solo, duo, group or collaborative performances, without vocals), Chris Thile received a nomination for The Eleventh Reel, a track from How To Grow A Woman From The Ground, recently released from Sugar Hill Records.
