New York Mandolin Orchestra - 82nd Annual Spring Concert
The New York Mandolin Orchestra will be giving its 82nd Annual concert on Sunday June 4, 2006 at 2:00 PM. The program will consist of classical, folk, and modern music conducted by Dan Barrett. Suggested donation is $10.00, senior citizens and students - $5.00.
The performance will take place at the Lenox Hill Neighborhood House in the Brooke R. Astor Auditorium, 331 East 70th Street (between 1st and 2nd Avenue).
Transportation is readily accessible. The #15 bus runs on 1st and 2nd Avenue. There is the 72nd Street crosstown bus and if coming by subway, the #6 train stops at 68th Street and Lexington Avenue.
Founded in 1924, it is the only full-fledged mandolin orchestra in New York City with members from all boroughs, as well as Orange, Rockland, Dutchess, and Nassau counties and New Jersey.
