The exciting new country music band Sugarland performed live on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno January 12, 2006. Kristian Bush, co-writer and musician for Sugarland graced the stage next to lead singer Jennifer Nettles sporting Breedlove's KF Cascade Blonde Model during their performance "Just Might (Make Me Believe)".
The Atlanta based group Sugarland has risen into Top Ten Billboard's Top Country Albums charts with their new platinum-selling album. "Twice The Speed of Life".
The Trio has been nominated for a Grammy in the Best New Artist, which includes all genres. The 48th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on Wednesday February 8, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. Sugarland held the country banner at the AMA's when they took home Favorite New Artist - in all genre category.
This is not Kristian Bush's first experience with Breedlove instruments. He used the Quartz 00 to record their successful album "Twice The Speed of Life'. "That kind of exposure is good for our company", says Steven Tate who is in charge of Artist Relations for Breedlove Guitars.
The KF Cascade Model boasts impressive volume and projection and the Cascade's distinctive asymmetrical K body with F-holes is in demand by modern bluegrass players. Premier appointments complete the appearance with black binding, nickel Schaller tuners, a Loar replica bridge and Monteleone style tailpiece. A deluxe arch top hard shell case is included. Value at $2,699
Breedlove is having an exciting 2006, with a new prototype Mandolin coming soon. Breedlove's Master luthier Kim Breedlove is currently making many subtle improvements to our mandolins in 2005. New Quartz tailpiece, new cases, neck and joint modifications, only to name a few.
