Gibson OAI and The Mandolin Store Exclusive FGCMS Model Mandolin

Wickenburg, Az. — Gibson Original Acoustic Instruments and The Mandolin Store are proud to announce the new Model FGCMS mandolin to be sold exclusively through The Mandolin Store.

David Harvey of Gibson OAI and Dennis Vance of The Mandolin Store worked closely to put together a new model with appointments that should appeal to most players.

Model FGCMS: F - the style, G - part of the base model name, C - custom, MS - Mandolin Store.

The new model features:
Solid flamed maple back and sides
Solid spruce top
Grover tuners
Satin hardware
The Gibson/Flowerpot headstock inlays
Ebony (radius) fingerboard and bridge
1 1/16" or 1 3/16" nut width available
Jumbo frets
Amber burst top with sheraton brown back and sides
3-ply binding on top, single ply bindng on the back, fingerboard, headstock

"In building this piece we were looking to hit a price point between the current F5G and Goldrush models while adding a few modern appointments", said Dennis Vance, owner of the Mandolin Store.
