Default Simple to use IPad recording app for practice?

Anyone have suggestions on a good, simple to use recording app for my IPad? I mostly just want something that makes it easy for me to record the chords of a tune to practice the melody against. Bells and whistles not wanted.

GarageBand will work fine for this. Due to latency issues, I've found it impossible to use the iPad for anything more ambitious than what Bruce is asking for. Would love to hear if anyone has had a better experience.

Don't pay $20, Focusrite has a freebie called Tape that will serve your purposes. There are many more, why not just go to the Apps link on your iPad and search them out.
