Default Anybody know this Monroe tune?

    Hi everybody,

I and several of my New England pals are on a mission these days to learn and propagate less-well-known Monroe instrumentals. A friend shared this track with me, but he did not know the title or the origin. Any clues? It might be from Master of Bluegrass.

It's a rather nice waltz, I think. And two mandolins. Weird.

I've posted a short excerpt from than the whole thing to avoid trouble, which I may attract anyway.

    Thanks!
    Amanda

I don`t know it`s name but I sat in at a jam session a while back and someone kicked it off and I learned it is a flash, if that is the name I`ll start calling it that when I keep playing it, unless someone else comes up with a true name...sounds a lot like one of the songs he sang...

    Come on gimmie a name....Willie

It is "Lady Of The Blue Ridge" and I believe it's three mandolins. Jesse McReynolds and Larry Sledge also play on that album.

If anyone runs into a live version of "Lady of the Blue Ridge" by Mr. Bill, I'd love to know about it...
    Any quality...

I'm compiling a live version of "Master of Bluegrass", and this is the only tune of the 10 that I'm lacking a live version of....
