A-5 Cases

Hi all -

Apologies if this question has already been answered (I'm sure it's in this forum somewhere!) but I'm looking for a good case for my ALS A-5. I've read some posts about cases but nothing that gets me to the answer I'm looking for. Not looking for anything special - just a solid case that's a good fit with some room for accessories - definitely don't need a Calton or equal. The Collings TKL cases are great - might just order one of them - but I also see others. The Travelite cases look nice and very much like the one I got with my Fylde bouzouki - love it! - but I read a negative post about them.

Any thoughts - greatly appreciated.

When I bought my Krishot A5 four years ago it came in a shaped tweed case that did not contain the instrument well. There was a lot of movement. I bought this Guardian Deluxe Vintage Case and it served me well.



However, in preparation for my recent trip to Clifftop I bought a Hiscox case in the off chance that I would have to check my case. I love the Hiscox. It seems more protective than my Guardian and it's two pounds lighter. The accessory pocket is huge.



I am so pleased with the Hiscox that I'll probably be selling my Guardian soon.

Right after I posted my reply I noticed that there is a really nice fiberglass case in the classifieds. My friend has this case and she is really pleased with it.
