Default New Tune Plus Roscommon Reel

This Saturday while listening to Christy Moore and trying to learn to play and sing Black is The Colour on my OM, this new single reel popped out. I made a little recording of it with Roscommon Reel.

    Hope you enjoy it.

Hah! Thanks. No the picture quality is meant to be that way. I go for walks on the Blue Ridge Parkway and then use them with strange effects for my videos. I just do that so I don't have a black screen. I think that effect was called, watercolor.

    Thanks for listening!

I promise I was not trying to be sarcastic!

Just had a look at your web page.............impressive!

Looks like Irish/Scottish music is in competent hands in NC.

    All the best

By the way I have never heard anyone else but myself play the Scholar.

It's in competent hands most of the time, but other times there is just too much porter.

Yeah, the scholar is great. We don't play it that much, but it does come up from time to time.

Thanks TMSweeney. The tune is growing on me more and more too. I'd like to get a recording of it with a fiddler.

Hey Dave, I used to be out there more often. I go about twice a month now, but yes, I think they consider me a regular by now. Do you come out and play?

I have not been to the session yet! I'm about 2 hours away (G-town), I hope to go up for a weekend soon and maybe sit in for a few tunes.
