    Default Stew Mac Ibex Planes

I'm not a builder/repairer, but I do appreciate a good tool in the hands of a great craftsman.
Just got a broadcast email from Stew Mac about these and they looked pretty cool:

Bought a 90 mm Ibex from LMI. Their price is around $10 less than StewMac, but at $180 it is an expensive tool. It was worth it - works great and the blade holds an edge well. Some experience with conventional hand planes might help with setting up, sharpening, etc.

I own 4 of the convex ones that I got somewhere else then stew Mac. I also picked up a large flat bottomed one used on eBay. They are nice planes to have. The quality is great. Don't be fooled into buying some of those similar type planes of eBay. A friend got suckered into buying them and regrets it.

Lee Valley Tools has them in Canada for less and they are good.
