    Default Best Father's Day Ever?

Well, I found out last week that my kids had a new mando coming. Got my Morgan Monroe MDM-2 in Wednesday, and been having a ball ever since. A nice step up from the Rogue I've been learning on. Woke up this morning to a nice F.D. card beside the coffee maker, and my wife's bank card, with directions to "go ahead and order yourself a new strap and that microphone you need". Even had enough left over under my limit to order some Golden Gate picks to try out. Add to that the 16 oz. Ribeye sitting in the fridge to go on the grill tonite, and I'd be hard-pressed to remember a better Dad's Day in a LONG time!
Hope all the Dads out in Mando-land are having a great day today!

Congratulations on your new MM. What a great Father's Day gift. Have fun playing. If you get a chance post some pictures.

Great looking instrument! I really like the black tuner buttons and the matte finish. Nice tailpiece too. Looks like a keeper!

Happy Father's Day to all the dads on the Mandolin Cafe.

Nice Mando. I had a Washburn which is almost identical (same manufacturer I I think). Same components (tailpiece tuners etc). Very fun instrument. It will ward of MAS (for a while). Congrats

Okay. My family gave me a lesson package for Father's Day...what do you think that is about?

Looks good. I look forward to hearing it. MDM - got your name on it, Mike D Mandoman.

Maybe they consider it a gift for you AND for them? Seriously, a very nice gift. Are the lessons local, or something like Mike Marshall does online? Either way, that's something that'd be great to get. Congrats.
