Wow, what on earth are you using for the top e string - must be mighty thin?

This would not be my build. THis was built by a gentleman in S. Korea. He builds custom electric guitars as well.
As to the strings, the E string is an 009 super slinky guitar string. I have one of his strat style units and I really wanted a LP as well. Now I sit and wait for it to arrive. 10 biz days can feel like an eternity!
The pick ups are of his design as well with the polarity opposite to each other on the 3 way switch. I really like the options it gives through my Univox and my Vox amps... I don't like this combo with the Fender amp I have though.

Here is a bit of info about the builder's pick ups... They have ALNICO5 magnets and German made coated coils.

Here is his a sample of his guitar work. The company is Bus Guitars... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BP0069l4--k

If you can read Korean, here is a web site that is carrying these http://www.soundengine.co.kr/front/p...isplay_group=1 I have been dealing with the builder directly, but the pricing seems to be identical to what I paid.

It is here! It was a demo and the only 'flaws' I can find are minor scratches on the access plate cover... otherwise, it is better than I hoped it could be Happy, happy, happy!!!

I am playing both the Tomo emandos a lot. I love, love, love them! Guitar sounding? Yes, but that's actually what I was looking for with these or I would have stuck with 8 strings.
