Default Hello everyone. My first Mandolin, and help with identification?

Hello everyone. I just scored a gorgeous, if extremely beat up, mandolin for a grand total of $2.99 at a local goodwill.

Anyways, I have no clue about what it is, where it came from or when it was made, I just know that I like it, and it will make a cool little wall hanger in my guitar room. At some point I would like to repair the cracks in the back, and figure out how to patch the huge hole, but I dont really see this one ever being a player again.

This looks vaguely like a c.1905 Oscar Schmidt build to me, but don't quote me on that.

Actually, when I was Google image searching for similar Mandolins, that was one of the conclusions I came to after looking at Antebellum Instruments Lol. The other was the 1910-1920 Harmony also posted there. Either way, I love it. Especially for the whole $3 I paid. I'm sure whoever priced it thought it was just some el-cheapo student guitar like a First Act or something.
